No one outside the Royal Circle and his two closest advisers can lay claim to knowingly having seen the Winter King in over three decades; if pressed for a description, those who know him tend to describe him as ‘very nondescript.’
Brief History
Of the four Lost who would become the Royal Circle and claim the Seasonal Crowns in the wake of the ‘89 Uprising, Henry was always the most-enigmatic. Though both Frankie and Stasya speak of their superior as though he is a frequent presence in their lives, they are both exceptionally tight-lipped on any details about the Winter King beyond occasionally delivering edicts from him.
Roleplaying Hooks
No one knows what ‘King Henry’ is up to, save those who are too loyal to him to reveal his game.
Some more-suspicious Lost believe that there is no ‘King Henry,’ and that he merely exists as a front for Frankie and Stasya to hide behind. However, it is noted that neither of the pair have ever manifested the Winter Crown, and that the Freehold’s bargains hold true even in Winter.
